Since we did so little walking yesterday, I got to do some extra
walking today. It was great. Though I didn’t get to talk with a lot
of people today, I did enjoy my day. It was sunny and just a
comfortable temperature all day.
A lot of people did wave to me today, and a lot also honked. It
was all great. Bonny met me a few times. She took my picture at
the Maryland State border, and I took hers.
At the McDonald’s in Rising Sun, MD I finished the route for
today. We decided to eat there as well. After eating we drove to
a WalMart to get a few things, including a trac-phone for
Bonny. It’s been working fine for us without the phone, but
Bonny is very concerned about not having one.
Driving from McD’s to WalMart we went through a cute little
town on the Susquehanna River. It is called Port of Deposit.
Now we thought that a very interesting name, and our minds
went wild with it.
We found we have a WalMart right in Aberdeen over in another
part of town - thanks Lady G (the GPS). There is also a
Starbucks according to Lady G, but we didn’t get to it yet -
maybe tomorrow.
Well, it’s late again, but not quite as late as last night. I keep
falling asleep at the computer, so I guess I better quit and go to
bed.
Tomorrow we have an 11 o’clock church service - every church
I called started at 11 o’clock. We haven’t decided yet which one
we will attend, so stay tuned for that answer tomorrow.
Good-night all.
